NEW MANAGER!!!!!!!!!!!!
EFD have recently appointed Helen MacAttack as their new manager. A press conference was held to assure the fans EFD were not comercialising and becoming everything that they stood to destory. Says Deth MAchine, "We're not like changing. Its just in these harsh times, one has to think about so much stuff, and for us its all about the music, so we don't wanna have to like organise and stuff, so we got Helen to do it for us, that way we can concentrate more on the music"There has been a lot of controversy surrounding these actions due to relations between Sickboy and Helen, but Sickboy confirms to the fans that "it's not gonna change anything coz me and Helen are like....fucking, if anything it'll make the music even better, coz we'll have more time to write and rehearse rather than shiting around with organising". So the future looks prosperous for EFD. One fan had this to say, "Uh cool". Keep watching this space.

20th of August 2001 - DETHERS and dickwads
Well, it was time for EFD's third gig and incidentally the 2nd in a
garage the garage in question belonging to one jean clasper.
the gig was awaited with baited breath as EFD had not kicked it for
a while and it had been 3 weeks since their last rehearsal as bassist
quod and singer cluff had both been on holiday for 2 weeks.
the night before quod had been stuck in a tenerife airport due to a
big ass delay on his plane and was pumped on caffeine to beat his lack
of sleep. the gig was looking cool with cluff rigged up to a proper
ass PA as opposed to a shitty amp. it looked as if the gig could go
down in history. sadly not all went to plan
the start was delayed as the efd mosh crew of the dead corpse boys got
seriously lost on their way thanks to chainsaw's organisational skills, and efd cannot start a gig without them. quod was a
bit of a retard as ever and managed to get himself pissed before the gig
EFD looked rusty off their massive break and from the start of blind
you could tell that they weren't gelling as well as the monumental
night of their last gig at tinas. sickboy was looking frustrated and
although blind went well it could and has gone a lot better, with the few pit warriors looking bemused by the lack of action on the gravel. killing in
the name and shove it were also crowd pleasers although those who knew
better could tell that not all was going fully to plan. had efd had
more time to practice before the gig it would have gone a lot better as
the togetherness would have been there but sickboy came off work late
and time was running out. deth machine was giving it his all at the gig
and looked animated, showing off his new dreadlocks in some insane ass
headbanging, mutt and sickboy were also on form. cluff tried his hardest
to beat his sore throat he picked up in cyprus and sang through it well
but the pile of empty strepsil wrappers on the floor and the clasping
of his throat after songs told otherwise. quod, having drunk a few too
many carlings before performing was way below par but managed. the crowd
were loving it but from a bands point of view the first few songs were a
bit of a mess. it was always going to be hard for the valiant pit pirates to beat the legendary mosh at tina's, but there were several new set pieces, including the Satanic 5 Man Wall of Death, orchestrated by Tom Possessed and giving Chainsaw a sore ass, Tom and Slambert toyed with the idea of flying kicks off the wall, and Big Phill Satan of all people was ripping it up with Hardcore Hellion McAfear on his back.
at the party there were a few twat ass gary boys who, obviously not liking
the finer points of music, told efd to fuck off. after tuning up singer
cluff offered for a few garage mcs to come up and prove just how phat they
were with a quod and mutt backing, being pussy fucks they declined and fucked
off to the trance hole. after tuning up efd were whipped up into somthing
far from the disappointing start, they were definately starting to perform
as one again and in shutup the crowd joined in in the chorus, i think we
have a sing along song there, although the pit didn't know quite what to mkae of it's slightly upbeat stylings, pining for some more of the hard stuff. however it was lapped up well by the audience and a
thunderous pit readied itself for the song they had been waiting for, new efd song hardcore#1. i think was the best success of the night as it
went perfect and the crowd seemed to like it, the pit yet again as hard as
a 7ft skinhead with bovva boots and a mallet, going apeshit with some hardcore slamdancing, complete with feet, elbows and even craniums. luckily no-one walked away without injuries, but it could have been a lot worse given that the pit was still fairly small.
sickboy's fret work took a break for 10 minutes before efd's signature
ditty orgasmatron vs ultimate warrior in the pit of death was kicked out
of the speakers, obviously a crowd favourite as the crowd turned into a
mess of flying pebbles and a few bloody bodies, the quote from a clueless
garage type after said pit was,"what was up with the dancing? they looked
like they were having a fight."
rule.

27th JUNE 2001 - JUDGEMENT DAY
So you think you can handle a hard pit? Think you can hold your own when it gets hard? Well, no living thing could have lasted the entirety of TWO Excellent Flying Deth sets in the GRAVEL PIT.
The scene was set, we set up in the huge american style garage, with the triumphant EFD banner up behind Mutt, and we set up our gear. We closed the garage door to build up tension before the gig, im pretty sure itr worked, because when it opened, man was that pit violent!
So heres how the gig went:
We kicked it off with a down tuned covers set, which went down pretty well with the crowd, although it just looked like a cloud of dust from inside the garage. Blind (korn), shuv it (deftones), and killing in the name (rage) were pretty cool, but there was so much more to come, man, we hadnt even started drinking yet!
So we closed the garage up for the interlude, so we could recover a bit, and so Deth Machine could tune up. Sickboy got into the Adidas shorts and the REAL shit was going down, no more fucking games.
Shut up sounded extremely polished and cool, but nothing off the whole party would beat what was to follow, the power, pressence, beat, emotion. Orgasmatron really got the pit moving, and then ULTIMATE WARRIOR was when people were going down in the gravel HARD. Man, i just remember Tom Possesed of Dead Corpse spinning insanely in the pit, sliding to fuck. I cannot really explain what happened then, but it went off.
So we figured we had done our parts, and began the heavy drinking and made our way to the women, when we were asked to play again. Needless to say, EFD AIN@T NO PUSSY FUCKS, we waited till the drink was good, and yet again, BAM! I can't remember what songs we played but i do remember having ED pour scrumpy jacks down my throat while we played shuv it again. Damn, i dunno about others, but i was pretty wasted then. One man who certainly was, the man in the thick of itr again, TOM POSSESED, he was stood on the bass rig downing buds, it was crazy. Big respect to all those who served and died in the pit, our thoughts go out to you and your familys.
Shouts out to all of dead corpse, ed, tina, and anyone who sustained blood injuries- that means you Chainsaw!
